■ What are the characters for EZ-pop ?
There are main three characters of self-adhesion(no need of any glue),
high transparency(looks like printing directly on the window glass) and
applicability to stick by water as well (even large sized films can be
easily applied).
■ What applications are to be used ?
Decoration and POP(point of purchase) advertizement at shop's window for
short period campaign. And taking the removable function, EZ-pop is applied
on variety of cards and mobile devices as a replaceable sticker.
■ Which fields of business are to be applied ?
Actual application for POP advertizement and decoration at shop's window
in different fields such as public sectors, automobile, restaurants, department
stores and fashion boutique.
■ Which materials are recommended to stick on ?
It is best to stick on smooth and flat surface such as window glass, mirror
and steel plate. EZ-pop may stick on non-flat surface with mild quadric,
however, not stick properly on rather heavy quadric surface nor cubic surface.
Strongly recommended to make advance tests with sample.
■ Can EZ-pop be removed on purpose once sticked onto the materials ?
It is possible to remove it purposely. But EZ-pop sticks to the materials
venting the inside air completely like a sucker and therefore it is rather
hard to remove it. Even general consumers may try to remove it but at last
give it up.
■ May EZ-pop be removed naturally as time goes by ?
Once applying EZ-pop on the materials properly without any air spot inside,
EZ-pop will not remove naturally but tends to stick on the glass much stronger
as time goes by.
■ What shall be done if you may find any dust particles on the adhesive surface ?
EZ-pop has water-proof character and can be cleaned with water, but it
may be difficult to clean up dust particles or thread crap with only water.
It is recommended to use common sticky tape to take them out.
■ Is there any glue remainder staying on the material after removal ?
It depends on the environment to be used. Adhesiive layer of EZ-pop is
badly influenced mostly by UV. At the place receiving UV constantly like
direct sun-shine, adhesive layer will gradually harden to cure and come
to stay at last as glue remainder. There has been no problem reported for
the use within 6 months time. On the other hand, some customers who are
using it at the place receiving no UV are enjoying to use more than 1 year
without any problem.
■ Are there any other base materials available than polyester(PET) ?
At present PET film is only available as base material. For other materials if required, you may combine to use laminating our Mount-Grade type.
■ What is the maximum width of EZ-pop available ?
Effective width1,240mm for solvent-base ink, 1,060mm* for UV ink and 1,140mm for Mount-Grade type. *1,240mm for UV ink is under testing and therefore if required please inform us in advance.
■ Is reverse printing (sticking printed EZ-pop on the window from inside the
room) available ?
Yes. As the self-adhesive layer contains a bit of UV absorbing agent, in
case of EZ-pop sticking from indoor, colors of inks will not fade away
for 1 to 3 months time. That is why transparent type of EZ-pop is used
mostly for sticking indoor.
■ Applicable for both sides ?
Yes. After printing both sides of film like synthetic paper available in the market, then laminate it with our Mount-Grade type.
■ Has EZ-pop function of UV-cut (sunburn prevention) ?
While self-adhesive layer contains a bit of UV absorbing agent, it is just
for preventing ink color fading away but not for the function of sunburn
prevention.
■ Is EZ-pop recognized in public as fireproof and disaster prevention ?
No. As EZ-pop can easily stick and remove, it is reported not always necessary
to get such recognition when using as POP advertizement at shop's window.
■ Can EZ-pop be used as glass shatterproof film ?
Maybe not for the purpose, as have never tested officially.
